Languedoc red - 75cl
100% Pinot Noir
Domaine Le Bosc
Cave de France's note: Owned by Domaines Robert Vic, and from the Les Cépages collection, Le Bosc Pinot Noir boasts a clear ruby red color and offers a delicate nose with aromas of small red berries: cherry and raspberry, accompanied by slightly spicy and floral notes. On the palate, it stands out with a supple and light structure, with soft tannins and a balanced acidity that brings freshness and deliciousness. This easy-drinking red wine is suitable for aperitifs as well as accompanying white meats, vegetarian dishes, or soft cheeses, offering an elegant and convivial style.
The Domaine's note: Domaine du Bosc and its 90 additional hectares of vines complement the cultivated area of Preignes, in the same commune of Vias.
It is a wine-growing site with a rich history, dating back to 1806, managed by the Bésinet family since 1941, with a very atypical and extremely qualitative dominant volcanic terroir.
Covered by the sea a million years ago, the Earth's crust in this coastal area of Languedoc released some gases and molten material.
And then, the explosion: the volcano's chimney, far below the surface, was invaded by seawater which vaporized. A gigantic geyser, mixed with lava fragments and a cloud of dust, was silently projected over a kilometer, and fell back to the bottom of the sea.
This is the origin of the "Cinérites du Bosc," these unique lands in the world that characterize these plots.
