A word from the winemaker: This is a round, rich, mineral wine with aromas of white flowers. It will perfectly accompany fish and seafood. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif with goat cheese and grey shrimp.
Coteaux du Vendômois white is a rather dry white wine. It is a still wine. It is produced in the Touraine region, in the vineyards of the Loire. However, it can also be produced, as is the case with Dominique Norguet, in the Loir-et-Cher.
The vines benefit from a rather temperate climate with oceanic influences. The soils are composed of tuffeau stone, clay-limestone and flint-limestone. The "Chenin" grape variety is the main grape used to produce Coteaux du Vendômois white. Of course, complementary grape varieties can be blended, such as Sauvignon gris or Fié.
Coteaux du Vendômois white holds the French AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) label as well as the European AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) label.
