Japanese Blended Whisky 70cl 40°
A word from Cave de France: An astonishing new Japanese blend, this Tenjaku offers a smoky, ashy attack before rounding out with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, hazelnut, and pear, leading to a long and pleasantly smooth finish. A definite discovery, and a truly excellent value for money.
A word from the Importer: Tenjaku was created in the city of Fuefuki. Facing Mount Fuji and the southern Japanese Alps, the city rests on an alluvial system through which water from the Misaka mountain range flows. Filtered by volcanic rock, this water, velvety and slightly alkaline by nature, is perfect for dilution during the creation of whiskies. The moderate mineral content of this water helps create a soft, easy-to-drink whisky with balanced aromas.
The philosophy of excellence through natural ingredients is derived from their master distiller, Kenji Watanabe, whose sincere passion for craftsmanship can be appreciated in every sip of Tenjaku.
