A word from Cave de France: Serbal is produced by Bodega Atamisque, located in the Mendoza region, in the Uco Valley, a renowned region for its quality wines. Unlike many Argentinian Malbecs aged in oak barrels, Serbal Malbec is often vinified without wood aging, which preserves the pure expression of the fruit and the freshness of the varietal.
The color is deep ruby red with purplish reflections, typical of young Malbec.
The nose is very expressive and fruity, with aromas of red and black fruits such as cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of violet. Subtle notes of black pepper and sweet spices can sometimes be detected.
Finally, the palate is fresh and balanced, with a lovely acidity that provides liveliness. The tannins are supple and silky, offering a pleasant mouthfeel and a fruity, persistent finish.

Serbal Malbec pairs well with light and diverse dishes, such as grilled meats, pizzas, pasta, vegetarian dishes, and even some spicy dishes. It is a versatile Malbec that highlights the fruity and elegant character of the varietal without the pronounced influence of wood.
