Among them were Abel-François Villemain, writer and minister under Louis-Philippe, his son-in-law François Allain-Targé, député for Paris and minister under Léon Gambetta, as well as Charles Ferry, brother of Jules Ferry, député and senator for the Vosges. These personalities marked the history of the place, imbuing it with a character rich in culture and commitment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1950, Fresnette Ferry, the last heiress of the Ferry family, married Edgard Pisani, an eminent minister under General de Gaulle. Together, they undertook a vast restoration project of the estate, then marked by the ravages of two world wars. This project brought the château and its vineyards back to life, laying the foundations for a viticultural renaissance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1976, their son, Édouard Pisani-Ferry, an agronomist passionate about viticulture, took over the reins of the estate.
