A word from Cave de France: The vineyard of Domaine des Brosses, owned by Alain Girard, benefits from a unique terroir, with limestone and clay-limestone soils that contribute to the minerality and complexity of the wine.
Among the great Sancerre wines, this cuvée from Domaine des Brosses is characterized by aromas of white-fleshed fruits (such as pear and apple), citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), as well as floral and slightly herbaceous notes.
On the palate, the lovely nectar is dry, lively, and balanced, with good acidity.
In general, Sancerre white pairs well with seafood, fish, goat cheeses (especially the famous Crottin de Chavignol from the same region), as well as salads and light dishes.
