Cave de France's note: A beautiful Saint-Émilion, consistently good vintage after vintage. Château de la Cour reveals a dark, deep color with violet hues. The wine is thick, generous, powerful, and long on the palate. One appreciates its notes of spices and leather, its aromas of crushed red fruits sun-drenched. A pleasurable wine, finding a good balance between exuberance and subtlety.
Certainly one of our sure values both in-store and on our website.
The winemaker's note: The wine has a dark and brilliant color, the fruity nose becomes more complex with spicy and toasted notes. The palate is powerful, leading to a very long finish.
Food and wine pairing: Duck, red meats, lamb, and cheeses.
Aged well for 10 to 15 years.
Vignobles de la Cour has been established for over 20 years in the prestigious appellations of Saint-Émilion and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
With a strong desire to increase the qualitative level of the Estate, Bruno Delacour entrusted the direction of the vineyard to Julien Sroka, who elaborates the cuvées that make the reputation of ''Château de la Cour''. Since 2020, the entire vineyard has been certified Organic Farming.
