Quebec Whisky - 70cl 40°
Single Malt
A word from Cave de France: Hats off to our dear cousins in Quebec! They have succeeded in producing a high-quality whisky, whose proximity to Bourbon still allows for a true gustatory distinctiveness, undoubtedly due to its production in a Charentais alembic still.
An artisanal spirit par excellence, this whisky is crafted in small batches from carefully selected grains by the Distillerie de Montréal, in the Rosemont district.
This whisky offers a warm aromatic profile, with notes of vanilla, caramel, dried fruits, and sometimes a slightly woody or spicy touch depending on the batch. On the palate, it stands out for its roundness, balance, and soft finish, making it approachable while maintaining a beautiful personality.
It is a whisky that perfectly reflects the identity of its Montreal terroir, balancing tradition and creativity. It appeals equally to curious enthusiasts and connoisseurs looking for something new.
A WORD FROM DISTILLERIE ROSEMONT: A 100% Quebec bourbon-style whisky.
Our Montreal Whisky is a bourbon-style whisky, meaning it is primarily composed of corn. Fermented from corn (80%), wheat (10%), and barley (10%) grains grown in Saint-Constant, the wort is double-distilled in our Charentais alembic still before being aged in white oak barrels for three years. The woody aromas, resulting from aging, harmonize perfectly with the vanilla and caramel notes to offer a smooth and delicate whisky. Delicious neat or on the rocks, it also makes a wonderful base for your cocktails. To be shared in good company, around a fire.
