AOC Aged Rum from Martinique - 70cl
Pure cane juice
Trois Rivières
A word from Cave de France: An AOC-certified aged agricultural rum from Martinique, this rum is a refined blend of spirits aged between 4 and 6 years in French and American oak barrels. It stands out for its aromatic complexity, combining notes of dried fruit, sweet spices, precious wood, and vanilla, with a subtle hint of tobacco.
On the palate, it offers a soft and balanced texture, with a range that evolves towards flavors of candied fruit and honey, while maintaining a harmonious structure. The finish is persistent, marked by a pleasant woody sensation and an elegant minerality, typical of Trois Rivières rums.
This rum is ideal for tasting neat or in high-end cocktails, showcasing the excellence of Martinique's agricultural rum tradition.
A few words about Trois Rivières: Founded in the 17th century, Trois Rivières is one of Martinique's oldest distilleries, and owes its name to the three rivers that cross it: Bois d'Inde, Oman, and Saint-Pierre. Located at the extreme south of the island, in the commune of Sainte-Luce, it benefits from an exceptional terroir. The sugarcane fields stretch over rich soils that descend to the sea, in a region renowned for its abundant sunshine and maritime climate.
The estate dates back to 1660, created by Nicolas Fouquet, Superintendent of Finance to Louis XIV. Initially designed as an agricultural estate, it gradually evolved towards rum production.
AOC Martinique: Trois Rivières is one of the producers adhering to the strict regulations of the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC), guaranteeing high-quality agricultural rum.
