The nose is rich in woody and vanilla aromas, with spicy notes and dried fruit.
The palate is velvety and complex, blending flavors of cocoa, sweet spices, and citrus.
The finish is persistent and elegant, revealing nuances of noble wood and candied fruit.
This fine rum is appreciated for its finesse and richness of aromas, perfect for connoisseurs seeking a sophisticated spirit to enjoy neat or with a subtle accompaniment. It is often considered a modern expression of the art of blending in Martinique.
A few words about Trois Rivières: Founded in the 17th century, Trois Rivières is one of Martinique's oldest distilleries, named after the three rivers that flow through it: Bois d'Inde, Oman, and Saint-Pierre. Located at the extreme south of the island, in the commune of Sainte-Luce, it benefits from an exceptional terroir. The sugarcane fields stretch over rich soils that descend to the sea, in a region renowned for its abundant sunshine and maritime climate.
The estate dates back to 1660, created by Nicolas Fouquet, Superintendent of Finance to Louis XIV. Initially conceived as an agricultural estate, it gradually evolved towards rum production.
AOC Martinique: Trois Rivières is one of the producers adhering to the strict regulations of the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC), guaranteeing high-quality agricultural rum.
