A word from Cave de France: Distilled in the Irish style, three times from malted and unmalted barley, Redbreast is considered the very archetype of a great Irish Whiskey. The divine nectar is aged for 12 years in Sherry and Bourbon casks, which gives it characteristic aromas of gingerbread, on a bed of coconut, chocolate cake, crushed ripe fruit, with an exceptional length delicately enveloping the palate. Roundness, thickness, the perfect expression of the Irish style, in contrast to the peated Whiskies of Scotland.
Let us remember that the expression "Pot Still" (or Pure Pot Still) refers to an Irish Whiskey produced from barley and distilled in a Charentais still!
