Syrah, Grenache
Domaine Kennel 2024
Sustainable farming
A word from Cave de France: A wine that is both light and flavorful, enticing with its generous fruitiness, immediate drinkability, and excellent value for money.
From a blend dominated by Syrah and Grenache, this cuvée offers deep aromas of dark fruits like plum and blackberry, and a touch of licorice on the finish.
The wine is made without barrel aging to prioritize freshness, which is expressed in a supple palate with soft tannins.
Tui will be enjoyed with grilled meats, blue cheeses, tapas, or as an aperitif with friends!
Its name, Tui, evokes a joyful, gentle, and easy-to-remember sound: a nod to the Provençal nickname given to the cypress, the estate's emblematic tree. For the Kennel family, the cypress is almost a tutelary symbol, embodied by their majestic thousand-year-old specimen and its young offspring affectionately named Tui.
Through this cuvée, the estate celebrates permanence, transmission, and adaptability—values dear to their history and their terroir.
Domaine Kennel is a family vineyard located in Pierrefeu-du-Var, in the Var region.
It spans approximately 38 hectares of vines, on an alluvial soil at the foot of the village, benefiting from excellent sunshine and rich sedimentary soils.
The history of the estate is ancient: the property was once an outbuilding of the Saint-Victor Abbey in Marseille for several centuries, before being acquired by the Kennel family in 1932.
Starting in 2005, the Kennel family began a conversion to biodynamic farming, demonstrating a commitment to respecting nature, soils, biodiversity, and grape quality.
The vineyard is crossed by two streams (the Rémin and the Farembert) which contribute to the freshness of the site and promote biodiversity and plant balance.
