Fine red Burgundy wine 75cl
100% Pinot Noir
Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru - 2022
Domaine Alexandre Parigot
A note from Cave de France: The "climat" of Les Damodes is renowned for producing elegant and refined wines. This wine generally presents complex aromas of red and black fruits (such as cherry and blackberry), spicy notes, and sometimes a floral touch. On the palate, it is structured with fine tannins, beautiful freshness, and a long finish. It can improve with a few years of aging, revealing deeper and more complex flavors.
Domaine Alexandre Parigot enhances the beautiful appellations of the Côte de Beaune.
Founded by several generations of winemakers, the estate is managed by Alexandre Parigot, who took over the family reins, continuing the tradition of excellence while incorporating modern winemaking methods.
The estate spans several prestigious appellations, including Pommard, Volnay, and Nuits-Saint-Georges. It primarily cultivates classic Burgundy grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites. The estate's approach is distinguished by a respect for the terroirs and vines, using sustainable farming techniques to produce expressive wines that reflect the diversity of Burgundy's soils and climates.
Domaine Alexandre Parigot wines are often recognized for their finesse, balance, and aging potential.
Located in Meloisey, in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune in Burgundy, Domaine Alexandre Parigot embodies a vibrant family history that began in the 1950s when Georges Parigot acquired his first vines. Renowned for the quality of its terroirs, the estate gradually expanded through the generations, notably with the arrival of his son Régis in the 1960s, then Alexandre in the 2000s, each bringing passion and precision to the development of expressive wines. Today, the estate covers between 16 and 20 hectares spread across a variety of prestigious appellations such as Pommard, Meursault, Volnay, Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.
The vines, cultivated with a reasoned viticulture approach, rest on carefully tilled clay-limestone terroirs, with plowing, manual harvesting, and environmentally friendly practices. Alexandre Parigot injects his attention to detail – mastering the ripeness of the grapes and refining the touch in the cellar – to enhance Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The cuvées are distinguished by their finesse, freshness, and balance: whether it's a tender Pommard with silky tannins, an elegant Savigny-lès-Beaune, or a delicate Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, each wine reflects the domain's signature, both faithful to Burgundian tradition and enriched with elegant modernity. With an annual production of around 100,000 to 120,000 bottles, the Parigot house is acclaimed for its excellent value for money and the consistency of its cuvées, which continue to appeal to demanding connoisseurs and critics.
