A word from Cave de France: Noble Rebel Orchard Outburst is a refreshing Scottish blended malt, bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour. It is predominantly based on unpeated malts matured in bourbon casks, with a touch of malt fermented using white wine yeast, giving it a decidedly fruity and lively aroma.
The nose reveals notes of crisp green apple and ripe pear, enhanced by citrus fruits – lemon and lime – and a light scent of creamy vanilla. There is also a subtle sea breeze, an iodized freshness that balances the fruity sweetness. On the palate, the whisky develops a round texture, with apples and pears accompanied by a sweetness reminiscent of salted butter caramel or lightly salted popcorn, while vanilla and a malty base blend harmoniously. The finish is soft, tangy, persistent, with a hint of citrus (lemon) that returns and leaves a lively impression of freshness.
