Bordeaux - Lussac Saint Emilion red - 75cl X 6 = €10 per bottle
Château Haut-Piquat
Vintage 2022
HVE
A word from Cave de France: Representative of traditional Bordeaux style, made mainly from Merlot complemented by Cabernets. It is distinguished by a profile that is both delicate and generous, offering aromas of red and black fruits on the nose, such as blackcurrant, raspberry or cherry, often accompanied by woody, toasted or slightly roasted nuances from barrel aging.
On the palate, it presents a supple and harmonious texture, with silky tannins, a beautiful roundness and a certain elegance, providing a balanced and accessible whole while retaining interesting aging potential.
This wine thus expresses a classic and refined character, where fruit, structure and aging notes integrate with finesse to offer a tasting that is both warm and structured.
Château Haut Piquat is a wine estate located in the Lussac Saint-Émilion appellation, on the right bank of Bordeaux, where clay-limestone soils and a temperate climate are particularly favorable to Merlot. The château is part of the tradition of family-owned Bordeaux properties, with attentive vineyard work and winemaking aimed at preserving the expression of the terroir. Aging, often partly in barrels, brings complexity and structure to the wines while respecting their accessibility. The whole reflects a classic style of the region, where the balance between fruit, suppleness and elegance is favored.
