I didn't know that these Landes vineyards, whipped by the Atlantic wind, were destined for other nectars than the great Armagnacs!\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eLes Pieds dans le Sable, both white and red, simply blew me away.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe winemakers explain the presence of two distinct soils that make the originality of the vineyard; the \"sables fauves\" (tawny sands) to the East and the ocean sands to the West. The combination of the two creates fertile ground for this unexpected vineyard.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThis cuvée is supple and well-rounded. Aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, and blackcurrants dominate.
