The grape varietals, dominated by Merlot and complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, are ideally suited to a terroir composed of gravel and ancient sands, resting on a subsoil of clay and iron grit, characteristics that give the wines their structure and finesse.
