Red Burgundy - 75cl
97% Pinot Noir, 3% César

A word from Cave de France: Irancy, a northern Burgundy appellation, has a little-known particularity: the presence (admittedly optional) of the César grape variety in a tiny minority in its blend. César is a very old grape variety, to say the least, as it owes its name to the Roman legions who imported it to our ancestors, the Gauls!
This beautiful Irancy from the Dampt brothers is a model of its kind. A genuine, authentic, fleshy, fresh, generous terroir wine, it will meet the expectations of Burgundy lovers eager to discover Auxerre wines.

A word from the winemakers: The wine has a rather fluid appearance, with a cherry red color and luminous, deep ruby reflections.
The first nose is concentrated and seductive, expressing smoky aromas of strawberry, blackcurrant, and stewed cherry. It evolves on aeration towards notes of raspberry and wild rose.
The approach on the palate is supple and fresh, with a pulpy and velvety fruity texture, supported by a fresh and exhilarating acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a clay-limestone minerality that gives the wine a fruity volume. The concentrated finish leaves a harmonious, slightly spicy and saline sensation.
