Sustainable farming

A word from Cave de France: Praised by wine critics, including the Revue des Vins de France, Figaro Vins, and the Guide Hachette (to name but a few), Domaine Parigot cultivates fifteen hectares of Pinot Noir a few kilometers north of Pommard, on exceptional terroirs.
A true archetype of its appellation, this great Burgundy wine offers exactly what one expects from a Hautes Côtes de Beaune: a beautiful, deep and brilliant "Cardinal's robe", an elegant and straightforward bouquet, a smooth palate with floral notes and dominant cherry accents. The tannin is present but fine, the length on the palate is impeccable.
To be enjoyed with a flank steak with shallots, a jugged hare, a calf's head with gribiche sauce, ideal with a varied cheese platter...

The wine is produced in a 4-hectare enclosed vineyard located approximately 5 km from Pommard, on the heights of the Côte de Beaune. This clay-limestone soil gives the wine a beautiful freshness and distinct fruity notes in its youth. After 3 to 4 years of aging, it develops more complex aromas and a smoother texture.

Located in Meloisey, in the heart of Burgundy's Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Domaine Alexandre Parigot embodies a vibrant family history that began in the 1950s with Georges Parigot's acquisition of his first vines. Renowned for the quality of its terroirs, the estate gradually expanded through the generations, notably with the arrival of his son Régis in the 1960s, then Alexandre in the 2000s, each bringing passion and precision to the elaboration of expressive wines. Today, the estate covers between 16 and 20 hectares spread across a variety of prestigious appellations such as Pommard, Meursault, Volnay, Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.

The vines, cultivated with a focus on sustainable viticulture, rest on carefully worked clay-limestone terroirs, with plowing, manual harvesting, and environmentally friendly practices. Alexandre Parigot injects his attention to detail—mastering grape ripeness and refining the touch in the cellar—to sublimate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The cuvées are distinguished by their finesse, freshness, and balance: whether it's a tender Pommard with silky tannins, an elegant Savigny-lès-Beaune, or a delicate Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, each wine reflects the estate's signature, both faithful to Burgundian tradition and enriched with elegant modernity. With an annual production of around 100,000 to 120,000 bottles, the Parigot house is celebrated for its excellent value for money and the consistency of its cuvées, which continue to captivate demanding amateurs and critics.
