Château Malescasse - Moulin Rose 2020
HVE High Environmental Value
A word from Cave de France: Château Malescasse is one of those old estates prized by major Bordeaux negociants since the early 19th century. A safe bet for lovers of rich, elegant, and consistent Bordeaux wines.
Le Moulin Rose de Malescasse is the second wine of Château Malescasse, a Haut-Médoc red with an accessible and charming style. The nectar offers a bouquet of ripe black and red fruits, sometimes with spicy or slightly woody notes.
On the palate, it is supple, balanced, with silky tannins and a juicy finish, making it a pleasant wine from its youth, yet capable of evolving well for a few years.
It easily accompanies grilled meats, stews, or convivial cuisine.
Château Malescasse, located in Lamarque between Margaux and Saint-Julien, cultivates some forty hectares on gravelly hills typical of the Médoc.
Classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, the estate stands out for its rigorous work in the vineyard and cellar, aiming to produce elegant, precise, and accessible wines, of which Le Moulin Rose is the most indulgent and immediate expression.
