A word from the Distillery: Sipping The Nectar d'Or is like sending your senses on holiday to a French patisserie, where the air whirls with sweet scents, balanced by a gentle drumbeat of spices.

This whisky was born from the memory of first entering a patisserie.
It's about that first moment when your senses are deliciously overwhelmed, you breathe in the sweet aromas, and you wish you could take a bite out of every creamy, flaky treat you see.
With Nectar D'Or, you can taste it all!

To create it, we take the delicate, fruity spirit from our giraffe-height stills and age it in American oak bourbon casks with casks that once held sweet Sauternes white wine.

The result is like a waking dream filled with silky white chocolate desserts swirling with lemon cream, crème brûlée, almond croissants... all balanced by a gentle drumbeat of spices.

The creation of Nectar d'Or involves a 10-year maturation period in American white oak casks. From there, the blend is transferred to hand-selected Sauternes wine barriques for two years of extra-maturation, where it is infused with rich, spicy, and pastry-like flavours. As a finishing touch, the whisky is non-chill filtered to develop additional character and mouthfeel.
