Valérie Guérin works with a precise, artisanal approach, seeking to express each terroir with concentrated and elegant wines, often praised for their personality and quality, which has allowed the estate to make a remarkable name for itself among the strong signatures of Languedoc.
A red wine with character, La Cadette is primarily made from old Mediterranean vines (Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre) planted on stony soils, which produce concentrated and deep juices.
This exceptional Fitou develops an expressive nose blending ripe black fruits, spices, garrigue, very subtle menthol and liquorice notes, while the palate offers a full and balanced texture, with a velvety feel, freshness and beautiful precision.
It is a wine that is both sunny and structured, marked by its maritime Fitou terroir, capable of being enjoyed young for its gourmet fruit while possessing interesting aging potential thanks to its tannins and concentration.
Domaine des Mille Vignes is a small property of about eleven hectares located in the Aude, founded in 1979 by Jacques Guérin, oenologist and professor of viticulture, and now run by his daughter Valérie Guérin.
The vineyard is fragmented into many parcels worked almost like gardens, with a demanding approach based on low yields, massal selections and great attention to the vine and living organisms.
