Dry white Languedoc - 75cl X 6
100% Chardonnay
Domaine Le Bosc
A word from Cave de France: Owned by Domaines Robert Vic, this is a superb Chardonnay grown on volcanic soils with very Mediterranean accents.
Le Bosc has a brilliant pale yellow color and an expressive nose combining floral aromas, such as white flowers or acacia, as well as fruity notes of pear, citrus and sometimes exotic fruits.
On the palate, it offers a round and supple texture, with a certain aromatic richness sometimes evoking slightly buttery or vanilla nuances, while maintaining a beautiful freshness. The whole offers a balanced and gourmet wine, easy to appreciate, which goes well with fish, white meats or fresh cheeses.
A word from the Domaine: The Domaine du Bosc and its 90 additional hectares of vines complete the cultivated area of Preignes, in the same commune of Vias.
It is a winegrowing site with a rich history, dating back to 1806, managed by the Bésinet family since 1941, with a very atypical and extremely high-quality dominant volcanic terroir.
Covered by the sea one million years ago, the Earth's crust in this coastal area of Languedoc released some gases and molten material.
And then, the explosion: the volcano's chimney, far below the surface, was invaded by seawater which vaporized. A gigantic geyser, mixed with lava fragments and a cloud of dust, was silently projected over a kilometer, and fell back to the bottom of the sea.
This is the origin of the "Cinerites du Bosc", these unique soils in the world that characterize these plots.
