Maison Delas's note: The grapes that make up the "Ligne de Crête" cuvée come from the vineyards of Delas Frères, on the highest part of the Hermitage hill: the locality "Les Grandes Vignes".
On the nose, discreet aromas of spices and leather unfold into a balanced palette of dark berries: blackberry, redcurrant with captivating accents of flowers, licorice and incense. Richness, complexity and delicacy are not antonymous. Endowed with a beautiful minerality, all in elegance and finesse, the wine asserts the nobility derived from the finest granite of the Hermitage massif.
On the palate, the attack is rich and of great density. The wine is elegant, voluminous and flavorful. The ripe, melted, well-integrated tannins contribute to a powerful and balanced structure. The flavors recall the aromas observed on the nose. The palette is enhanced with notes of blueberry, black raspberry, violet and bitter chocolate. Structurally, harmony and balance are the great attributes of "Ligne de Crête".
