Winemaker's notes: With great aromatic purity, Les ''Ravines'' reveal aromas of white-fleshed fruits complemented by delicate floral notes. The elegant and harmonious palate is characterized by a beautiful volume, a slender and pure finish, revealing the minerality of the terroir.
Food and wine pairings: Asparagus with mousseline sauce, pike quenelles, truffled white pudding, chicken chaud-froid, langoustine en Bellevue or with curry, scallops, rigotte, refined Asian dishes...
It is on an exceptional terroir, from vines planted on steep hillsides and small terraces (chaillets), that Domaine Niero harvests the best of Viognier and Syrah.
Created in the early 1970s by Jean Pinchon, ambassador of the Condrieu appellation, the Domaine was taken over in 1985 by his son-in-law Robert, who gave it its letters of nobility. His son Rémi has now succeeded him, inheriting all his skills and passion
