Fine Cognac VSOP - 70cl 40°
Paul Bossuet
Owner Harvester

A word from Cave de France: Paul Bossuet VSOP Cognac is remarkably harmonious, balancing roundness and vivacity, revealing an elegant and accessible style. To the eye, it has a luminous amber hue with golden reflections, promising controlled aging. The nose opens with warm aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, and finely toasted wood, complemented by delicate notes of caramel and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is smooth and generous, giving way to a silky texture where flavors of ripe fruit, honey, and melted oak mingle, with a subtly spicy touch. The whole is balanced, supported by a soft and persistent finish that invites both pure tasting and accompaniment to a convivial moment.

This cognac is produced by the Paul Bossuet family estate, often known as Logis de Folle Blanche, an independent owner-grower located in Chaniers, Charente, who cultivates and distills his own grapes into cognac, Pineau des Charentes, and other spirits. Rooted in a local wine tradition, this estate works vineyards located mainly in the Fins Bois area, ages its eaux-de-vie in historic cellars, and promotes artisanal know-how passed down from generation to generation with particular attention paid to direct visitor reception and the quality of its products, a choice appreciated in short distribution channels and by lovers of authentic cognacs.
