Fine Cognac - 70cl 40°
Paul Bossuet
Owner-Harvester
A word from Cave de France: An elegant and accessible expression of the art of cognac, designed to showcase the traditional know-how of the Cognac region while offering a balanced and refined tasting experience. Bossuet House's Sélection Cognac appeals to both connoisseurs and novices wishing to discover this emblematic spirit.
The colour is golden and brilliant, with amber reflections. The nectar develops delicate aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and a light floral touch.
The palate is soft and harmonious, with notes of ripe fruit (apple, pear), honey, and a light woody imprint. The texture is smooth, and the finish offers a beautiful freshness with a slight persistence.
This cognac is perfect enjoyed neat, slightly chilled or on the rocks, to appreciate its subtle aromas.
It can also be used in elegant cocktails, where its sweetness and balance blend perfectly with other ingredients.
This cognac is produced by the Paul Bossuet family estate, often known as Logis de Folle Blanche, an independent owner-harvester established in Chaniers, Charente, who cultivates and distills his own grapes into cognac, pineau des Charentes and other spirits. Rooted in a local wine-making tradition, this estate cultivates vines located mainly in the Fins Bois area, ages its brandies in historic cellars and promotes artisanal know-how passed down from generation to generation with particular attention paid to direct visitor reception and the quality of its products, a choice appreciated in short distribution channels and by lovers of authentic cognacs.
