A word from the winemakers: The Château de la Grille vineyard, located on the limestone plateau of the Chinon commune, is planted with the famous Loire varietal Cabernet Franc. After aging in barrels, the wines mellow in bottles in our cellars before being "released". Vintage after vintage, Château de la Grille strives to live up to its reputation: The expression of Chinon.

In terms of image and reputation, the property of the Baudry-Dutour tandem is clearly an emblem, a strong symbol, a true driving force in Chinon with its unmistakable bottle. But La Grille is much more than that... a wine of formidable consistency, which never disappoints. An aromatic palette as complex as it is generous. A delicious, full-bodied and persistent nectar, the fruit of historical expertise dating back to the 15th century. The château is also one of the few in the Loire to be encircled by its vineyard.
