A richness in sugar perfectly balanced by a vibrant acidity, which gives a sensation of lightness and an endless finish. It features flavors of candied fruits, citrus zests and a spicy touch. This vintage has exceptional aging potential, typical of Yquem. It can be kept for several decades, developing even more complex aromas over time.

A note from Château d'Yquem: A vintage with extremely contrasting weather conditions; an abnormally cool, humid spring, leading to a staggered flowering, a guarantee of complexity at Yquem. The summer is magnificent! The freshness of September preserves that of the grapes while summer returns in October. The harvest takes place in four ideal episodes. This 2013 is very "Botrytis" typical with a sappy candied fruit. Its freshness and power are comparable to 2001 and its Botrytis is reminiscent of 2007.
