The 2023 vintage, generally successful in Bordeaux, delivers a precise and pleasant wine, more geared towards balance and finesse than power, with an aging potential of about ten years.
The château is a historic estate in Haut-Médoc, located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, classified as a fifth growth in the famous 1855 classification. Covering approximately 75 hectares of gravel, it benefits from a terroir favorable to Cabernet Sauvignon and is now owned by the Merlaut family, who also own several other renowned growths. The Camensac style is part of a classic Médoc tradition, favoring balance, elegance, and consistency, with wines that are true to their terroir and accessible while maintaining excellent aging potential.
