Bourgueil Red 75cl
100% Cabernet Franc
Domaine Yannick Amirault
ORGANIC
A word from Cave de France: The "Cote 50" refers to the altitude of the vineyard plots, located at 50 meters, on a gravel and sand terroir that produces wines with fine and elegant tannins.
This Bourgueil Cote 50 from the renowned Yannick Amirault is appreciated for its freshness and aromas of red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant) with a vegetal touch characteristic of Cabernet Franc. On the palate, it is supple and fresh, with a balanced acidity that makes it pleasant to drink young, but it can also be kept for a few years for those who like more evolved wines. This wine pairs well with dishes such as white meats, poultry, or fine charcuterie.
Domaine Yannick Amirault is one of the most respected in the Loire for the Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellations. Founded in 1977 by Yannick Amirault, the estate is now managed by him and his son Benoît. Together, they practice organic farming and viticulture that respects the soil and vines.
The estate cultivates only Cabernet Franc and produces wines that accurately reflect the terroir.
Each cuvée from the estate, including the Cote 50, aims to express the unique identity of each plot, with natural winemaking methods and minimal intervention, highlighting the elegance and typicality of Loire Cabernet Franc.
