Entrepreneurs' Grand Evening

A fine Whisky tasting

Cave de France on the jury!
This April 10th, your humble servant had the pleasure of participating in the jury for the Loir Valley Wine Competition 2025.
A real responsibility, the greatest difficulty of which was to spit out the beautiful nectars of the region! It was an opportunity to observe, once again, the improvement in quality of all local wines. Despite excessive rainfall, our winemakers have managed to adapt and produce quality wines, always preserving the typicality of their terroir. Impartiality and professionalism, the aperitif is for later :-)
Hello artist!..

Wines from around the world arrive at Cave de France.
Bottles have traveled to us...

From our close neighbors to the distant lands of the southern hemisphere, wines from around the world are arriving at Cave de France. A sharp and audacious selection, to discover new aromas, or rediscover our dear national grape varieties grown under the sun of the antipodes. Argentina, Chile, Australia, or closer to us; Italy, Spain, Portugal, the wines of Mendoza, the Vinho Verde of the Douro Valley, or even the Syrah of McLaren Vale... an invitation to travel for our taste buds :-)
Cave de France supports Anaïs Bourgoin!

On July 5th, the bronze medalist at the last European Championships in Rome, and selected for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, thanked her sponsors with a tasting of local products. It was an opportunity for Cave de France to present some beautiful cuvées and to encourage Anaïs! While our Vendômoise athlete wisely stuck to water (we understand her), the guests were able to enjoy Damien Pinon's Vouvray and a chilled rosé: Greg & Juju from Preignes le Vieux.
Anaïs's adventure is exceptional: multiple medalist in the 1500m, 800m, and mixed relay, she is now a member of the French Olympic team. Next tasting after the race: Champagne!
The collective, that matters!
Exceptional evening at Château de Vendôme around the ''collective'', our wines tasted ''collectively''!

''Learning, sharing, and growing together,'' a wonderful program presented on June 6, 2024, by Frédérick Gersal, a renowned historian, as well as many economic actors from the region. The cocktail dinner, held in the hanging gardens of the Château de Vendôme, was an opportunity to taste a selection from Cave de France: Valançay from Domaine de Quinçay and Côteaux-du-Layon from Domaine de Pied Flond, Chinon from Wilfrid Rousse... perfect atmosphere and weather to top it all off!
Another great event organized by MarCom'Conseils.
Minier celebrates its 90th anniversary with Cave de France.
The famous concrete/aggregate company chose Cave de France to properly toast its 90th anniversary!
On May 31, 2024, emotion surrounded Francis and Bertrand Minier, in the presence of local officials and over 400 guests, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Minier Béton.
To accompany the savory dishes from Les Trois Marchands, as well as the sweet treats from Benjamin Bordas, we selected 2 very different but complementary white wines: Les Pieds dans le Sable (Domaine Laballe, Capbreton) and the old-vine Chardonnay from Domaine des Terres Gentilles (Southern Burgundy).
For red, a classic Château Brulesécaille in Côtes de Bourg, and of course a lighter Chinon, to remember that we are in the Loire region.
Also present in the guests' glasses was Gris de Thoré la Rochette, an essential companion for local festivities... Happy Anniversary!
A beautiful selection for the holidays...
Fine wines and quality spirits carefully selected for successful celebrations.
This year, Cave de France wants to make people forget the ambient gloom by returning to the essentials: Christmas with family and New Year's Day with friends, around pretty bubbles and quality wines at the best prices. Our cellar located in Vendôme is full of prestigious bottles, iconic brands and small gems to discover.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! :-)
Cave de France in Vendôme
The choice of the right name.
While Cave de France is beginning to make a name for itself online, our cellar in Vendôme, La Maison du Vin, has been well-known to enthusiasts for many years. For consistency, we have decided to give our physical cellar the same name as the online store. Thus, since December 1, 2023, La Maison du Vin has become Cave de France. A name that alone summarizes our entire state of mind :-)
The Puissance 20 business club chooses your wine merchant for its annual evening!
340 guests, a prestigious venue... and the wine selection from your online wine merchant!
On September 14, 2023, the communication agency MarCom'Conseils called upon our services for the big annual "Puissance 20" evening, bringing together twenty of the region's most dynamic companies.
To delight the taste buds of the many guests: Touraine Chenonceaux white from Domaine de la Renaudie (a magnificent Sauvignon from the Loire) and Lussac-Saint-Emilion Château Lucas 2016, a superb Bordeaux reaching its peak...
A great moment of pleasure and sharing in a warm atmosphere, at the foot of the magnificent Régence building which has recently hosted the Louis Vuitton workshops.
A mark of recognition that highlights the excellence of our selection!
Weddings and corporate galas...
Weddings, family celebrations, inaugurations, company anniversaries...
Cave de France was on all fronts this summer!
Solicited from all sides, your online wine merchants selected and supplied hundreds (nay, thousands!) of bottles for requests as varied as family reunions or professional gatherings.
Other services are planned in the coming months, and we would like to thank the companies, associations, and individuals who trust us!
Unexpected tasting!
How lucky to be a wine merchant!
You're in your cellar arranging your bottles when suddenly, friendly customers come to offer you a taste of an old Montebello Rum brought back from Guadeloupe. What a great start to a Friday...
I learn in passing (because one learns something new every day) that the distiller advises filling the bottle with marbles as it empties (up to halfway) to preserve the aromas and freshness of the divine nectar...
I also learn that the name "Montebello" refers to an entire district of Petit-Bourg, in homage to a famous victory of Napoleon III over the Austrians. Gustatory specificity, history, traditions... the rums of the Antilles are a true cultural treasure.
So, many thanks to these dear regulars for sharing their beautiful bottle with us, a sign of recognition and friendship that goes straight to our hearts...

A beautiful tasting at the Minotaure
Cave de France is first and foremost a real wine cellar in Vendôme.
Behind the screen, there are passionate wine merchants and wonderful shared tastings!
On March 21, the "Minotaure" in Vendôme hosted an entrepreneurial event organized by the MarCom'Conseils agency. On this occasion, we were honored to present our activity and offer a fine selection for tasting to the companies present!
On the menu: Château La Gontrie in Cadillac Côtes-de-Bordeaux, produced by our friend Jean-Louis Rives between the Dordogne and the Garonne... a perfect match for the small charcuterie canapés offered by our excellent caterer Les Trois Marchands.
We also chose the white Tattoo from Maison Fontan to finish on a sweet note, notably the Rochambeau cake, with chocolate and orange, made by Maison Bordas.
A moment of pleasure, sharing, and conviviality... the true spirit of wine!
